Our Lesson today was about the storyboard, which we use to plan what we shoot for our video, we also learnt about the 3 different shot types, we also began work on the storyboard, I myself have a chunk of the script done
Lukes Session (22nd November)
In this session, we continued on our analysis of Documentaries, we recapped on what we did last week mainly for people who were off filming. Characteristics of a Documentary A Genre of Filmmaking which has a series of identifiable characteristics Super Size Me (a Film of Epic Proportions) was controversial when it was released due to the obesity epidemic in America. Later on, we watched a clip of Super Size Me that had been cut from the original Documentary, which was called “The Decomposition of McDonalds Burgers and Fries” and all I can say is that it was rather disturbing, there were Several Burgers (including a Royale with Cheese from Pulp Fiction) that rotted so badly that they were thrown out after 10 weeks. What makes a good Documentary? Some Documentaries can be really engaging, some can be hard to watch, some can feel slow and somewhat boring , so what makes a good Documentary?
