Advertorial Page idea

My Idea for the Advertorial Page is to talk about Batman: The Telltale series and the main plot of the game, I hadn't actually played the game for quite a while because it came out in 2016 and finished just before 2017 because the game is released in a series of 5 episodes, I played the second series on my Phone because I couldn't afford it on the PS4. after playing through a small section of the game.

"Advertorial Campaign ideas

My Advertorial campaign is on Batman: The Telltale Series, a game based on the popular Batman character, the Game was created in 2016 by Telltale Games who have sadly shut down long after the release of the game. My idea is to talk about the plot of the series and the consequences relating to the in-game choices.

To help me complete some research for the game, I went to my PlayStation and played through the beginning of the game, now the in game choices at this stage aren’t very consequential because I was playing through episode 1, the first episode is used to introduce us to Telltale’s version of Batman’s world, the game takes place during Batman’s second year of crime fighting, the first series introduces us to some of Batman’s iconic rogues gallery with villains such as Penguin and Two-Face, however the main villain is Lady Arkham, an original creation for the game, there are references to Batman lore throughout the first season, one influence looks to be the long Halloween, in that story Harvey Dent becomes Two-Face, Falcone appears and Cat-woman is a major character in the story. The beginning of Episode 4 introduces us to some members of Batman’s Rogues Gallery, such as Joker, the Ventriloquist and Victor Zsasz.

Each Episode has a major in game choice that will change the course of your story in the game, in Episode 1, you have the option to either Arrest Falcone, or go brutal and Brutalise him. In Episode 2 you have the option to either save Selina or Harvey, this choice drastically affects the episodes that come after, if you save Selina, Penguin will burn Harvey with a stage-light and he becomes Two Face, however the same happens if you save Harvey, he will just become Two Face over the course of the next 2 Episodes.

In Episode 3, the major choice is to either let Lucius come work with you or make him remain at Wayne Enterprises. This also affects Episode 4 in a small way.

Now Episode 4 ramps up the stakes, the big decision is to either go to Wayne manor and let Penguin take away your tech, or you go to Wayne Enterprises to stop Penguin and Two-Face burns down Wayne Manor, this affects Episode 5 in major ways, for one thing if you chose Wayne Manor, you have to fight the Children of Arkham at the start of the game, but if you go to Wayne Enterprises, you have to stop Two Face and fight off his personal Militia. This also affects what suit you use for the final battle

If you chose Wayne Manor in Episode 4, you get one of the early prototype suits, this suit has basic cowl functionality, but doesn’t have any defences outside of that.

However, if you decide to go to Wayne Enterprises at the end of the previous Episode, you get the Batsuit MK 2, Lucius states that this suit is beyond state of the art.

Episode 5’s big choice is either reveal your identity to Lady Arkham/Vicki Vale or Attack Vicki, if you choose remove Cowl, Vicki will attack you, permanently scarring your Ear. But if you choose Attack Vicki, Batman remains unharmed, but Alfred loses an eye.

These choices will also carry over into season 2, for example Batman will keep mementos of the previous villains, plus the Batsuit you used in Episode 5 will be displayed in the Batcave."
